Supermarket of FaithEveryday we are presented with many choices and they can seem very confusing, even overwhelming, at times.
And just like when we go to the supermarket, when making these choices we are confronted with a myriad of options, colours, sights and sounds.
Sometimes it all seems the same anyway.
The fast pace of life almost ensures that we feel that we have to make choices.
But there is one choice that should be clear.
Choosing to be a Christian is not like shopping. We should not walk the aisles and put the bits in we like and leave the things that we may not. Accepting the Christian faith is a decision that encompasses the single most important thing in life - we choose eternity, we choose to belong, to love, and to be one of God’s children and accept all the gifts that he gives to us. The Christian faith is about one choice - to accept or reject the truth that God came into the world to give us life, a life that will never end. Don’t get overwhelmed with all the supermarket of faith attributes choose life and enjoy the abundance of His gift to you.
